Q. What is Waxing?

A. Waxing is an ancient form of hair removal used in many different parts of the world. Waxing removes the hair from the root. The goal of waxing it to overtime weaken the hair follicles to thin and reduce hair growth.

Q. What is a Brazilian?

A Brazilian at B'z Waxx means the pubic hair in the front area and the bum area will be completely removed. You always have the choice to leave a landing strip or triangle.

In modern history the western world has named this ancient service after the area in which its popularity flourished, Brazil.

Brought in 1987 by the J Sisters to New York, this service has gained popularity for its results and hair reduction over time.

Q

Q. How long do the results last?

A.  The initial wax appointment should yield 2/3 of smooth skin. The results always vary person by person because our hair grows in different stages, some grow hair quickly and others a bit slower.

As you become more consistent the hairs will become finer and you will notice visible reduction of hair growth, yielding longer results of smooth skin.

Q. Difference between a Brazilian/ Bikini/ Bare Front ?

Brazilian = Entire front pubic area and bum strips will be waxed.

Bikini Line = Panties can be left on. The sides of panty line will be waxed, the top of the panty line will also be waxed. This is a great intro into the world of Brazilian waxing !

Bare Front= Entire front pubic area will be waxed. NO bum strips.

Q. Does waxing hurt?

A. Some degree of discomfort is to be expected, it is very short lived, and goes away within seconds. I will apply pressure on the area waxed to help minimize the sensation. I am trained to efficiently use techniques to reduce discomfort. We can stop at any point, should you no longer feel comfortable

Q.How will my skin respond?

A. Redness and irritation may occur, however with proper skin care at home it can be avoided. Waxing exfoliates the skin lightly while removing the hair from the root.I will apply pre/post products designed to soothe skin that has been waxed.

Slight tenderness can be expected and should go away in a few hours. Its best to wear loose fitting clothing, cotton panties...your greatest and latest granny panty is preferred lol

Q.How long does my hair have to be?

A. Please allow 2/3 weeks of hair growth after the last shave. This will ensure the hairs are long enough and ready to be waxed.

Q. Pregnancy & Waxing?

A. Pregnancy is not a contraindication and generally considered safe. Some women experience slight sensitivity due to the increase of hormones. Consult your doctor should you have any questions.

Q. Can I be serviced on my menstrual Cycle ?

A. Yes, you can. So as long as you have a fresh tampon/cup at the time of your service. Please note some women experience a little more sensitivity due to the extra hormones.

Q. How do I care for my skin?

A. Please DO NOT TOUCH waxed area with dirty hands. Remember where you had a hair, you know have an open follicle.

Please do not sweat in that area, specially the bikini area. Refrain from working out, sex, hot tubs, jacuzzis, pools ect.. for 24/48 Hours.

Try to wear loose clothing those first 24/48 hours after a wax and remember to give the tight panties a break for your own skins sake!

Please try not to tan freshly waxed skin as it is more sensitive.

I recommend exfoliating on the second day after your services. An exfoliating schedule of 2/4 times a week should help balance your skin and keep it smooth and bump free.

Please moisturize everyday to keep that skin hydrated!
